RegClean
consider ok.
Pros: good not the best,
Fast scanning.
RegClean
good
Pros: scans the registry relatively quick. scans very thoroughly, but not customizable.
recommended, but remember to always back up your registry. i have not yet to restore my registry, which means it's working fine.
Cons: cannot customize scanning. like all registry scanning programs, it does not scan every single invalid entry, but it does do a good job nevertheless.
however, always remember to back up your registry should there be wrong entries detected and deleted. which is what everyone should do when you delete or modify registry entries.
RegClean
doesn't clean the registry for XP
Pros: It tells you what is wrong in NT5.0 (winXP) in the Undo file
Cons: but it doesn't clean it up in NT5.1(winXP)!
RegClean
It'll get the job done.
Pros: While it's not as easy and user friendly as other applications, it gives you the ability to easily go in and remove registries by hand manually, (even when you uninstall things, the registry is left behind) so this is great for removing things, and its free.
Cons: It's like that ugly lawnmower in the garage, you have to be careful how you use it, and the controls are more difficult then they should be. but in the end it'll get the job down. a good tool.
RegClean
A Good Program With A Major Flaw
Pros: Registry Clean has been made by a decent company and that is Microsoft. Its quick scanning features and no installation of the program are some of the good things about it.
Cons: I possibly cant say that the program really fixes problems with just a blue bar going haywire and fixing errors.Although it has been made by Microsoft but it dosent even show the errors that it corrects. However one can get a slight idea of the erorrs fixed by opening the program with notepad or any text viewer.Blindly fixing the Windows Registry which is the heart of the computer can be very dangerous and can even crash your PC.Besides there are other products that work better why not try Ace or Tune-Up-Utilities.Youll see the difference in your computer performance.
